Service Manual

pp. 32-35 lists compatible system boards. Any one listed will work (fit) but discrete vs. UMA graphics if you switch from one to the other you also need a different heatsink.

Mr. Huffer i saw the 799516-001

board on the list but the one from online store is being used for 840 G2 hp laptop. is it ok to use even not from 850 G2 ?

As long as it is the same part number. Not uncommon for the same motherboard to be used in 14, 15 and 17 inch laptops released at about the same time. Just has to be a part number listed in the Manual for your model or it likely will not work.

ok so maybe it will work for my laptop too the one from 14" 840 G2. because its on my list motherboards 😊

Yes any 2 things with the same HP Part number are identical products.
