Spectre 360x - Purchased this laptop in Dec. 2016 - Best Buy salesman said it was the last laptop i'd ever need. 1300$ later, and a great performer, until recently. Now its turning into the "last laptop from HP, i'll ever want !" Unit would not turn on, with battery or power cord. Took back to Best Buy where i purchased it- they had it for 3 weeks, and returned it saying the motherboard was fried, and parts were not available to fix it. That was it....no suggestions nothing! Took the laptop to a second technician, who also confirmed, the motherboard was fried. He also stated that he could find no parts available...told me i should have got the extended warranty, so they'd (HP) just replace it....how can this be? Why are there "no parts available" ? i find it incredibly difficult , hard to believe in fact , for a product that is not even two years old to not have replacement parts available....If this is true, what can / will HP do to assist in repairs to this unit? OR am i now the disgruntled owner of a 1300 $ HP doorstop. I've been checking the posts and it would seem that HP has known about this issue , and has happened to newer units than mine. It would seem I'm not alone in having this problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated
