Hello, I'd like to upgrade my HP laptop (probook 6560b).
I already upgraded the RAM, as it had too little for the programs i use on it for school.
Now i'd like to upgrade the CPU, but I cant find anywhere what the full specs are of the HP 1619.
And of the stuff i found out i dont know if they are correct. So, can someone please give me a Spec list op the HP 1619 motherboard? At least the supported gen, socket and wattage?
Right now have the i5-2410M

Yes, taking a closer look. I believe the system boards with the QM67 chipset is designed for the quad core CPUs
However, having said this, I believe you are correct and you can also use the QM CPUs in your motherboard. Actually if I remember correctly another Member tried quite a while back and it worked out well.

David

Hi,
The only compatible upgrade mentioned in the service manual is
2620M, 2.7-GHz (turbo up to 3.4-GHz) processor with 4-MB L3 cache (includes thermal grease) part number 631252-005
You can see on page 90 of service manual

Hope it helps,
David
