Please help, I have contacted HP support but the staff could not answer my question.
my motherboard is hp 84b6, I would like to know the compatibility of my harddrive for this motherboard. The hard drive at the motherboard is hdd (500gb), I would like to update it to m2 sdd ( friends suggest using adapter). however some said my motherboard may not compatible to it. It may run as low as it used to be.
can anyone give me some advice?
thank you very very much

You have not provided that.
This is not an enthusiast forum where people build DIY PCs from scratch.
This is what I extrapolated from the information you provided.
