Hi @giuanin,

ATI Mobility Radeon cards offload all graphics processing from the CPU.These cards also contain dedicated memory, preventing video processing from eating into system RAM. With this additional processor and memory, the laptop can process video data and render 3-D models far faster than with integrated graphics. Discrete graphics do have some downsides as well: The cards produce more heat, use more power, drain the battery faster and raise the price of the laptop.

There are ATI Mobility Radeon cards with subwoofer and without subwoofer support.

Hope that answers your question.

First of all thanks for your answer.

After I've read the manual that you've suggested, I can make a change to the info on my pc that I exposed in the initial post:
the cpu is Intel Core i7-720QM dual core and non quad core.

Then, my motherboard does NOT have the slot to connect the subwoofer.

I read on the hp manual that the part number of my card might be:
605321-001.

I contacted online motherboard retailers who say that I'm not sure this is the right part number.

PLEASE HELP ME.

If you want, I can send my motherboard photos.

THANK YOu
