HP Pavilion - 15-cc166tx
Microsoft Windows 11
Product: HP Pavilion Notebook – 15-cc166tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Product : HP Pavilion Notebook – 15-cc166tx
Operating System : Windows 11
Brief summary:  battery replace error in hp hardware diagnostic check
Problem :  In component test my laptop failing battery test and power test even after using new battery .

I ran the Hardware diagnostic test and I got the following error:

Test: Component test ( Power source test)
Battery Check: Primary - Replace (40)
Primary : Logic State - Bad Cell (40)
Charge State - Not Available
Failure ID : PW7BPT-AGFB7P-MFPW3G-C0EW03

Test : Component test (AC Adapter)
AC Adapter Test :  PASSED

Test : Component test (Power)
Power Test :  FAILED
Failure ID: PW7BPT-AGFB7P-MFPW3G-C0EW03

my laptop showed error in battery and power test during hp hardware diagnostic's component test.  so I installed a brand new battery and followed the calibration process. After calibration when I run hardware diagnostic test, it still showing replace battery and bad cell error.

I am now completely clueless about what the failure ID says. It is cryptic to me.
Could someone explain what that failure IDs mean?

I am extremely grateful to you!
Thanks in advance!

the system SSID is 83F9 . . .

The system SSID is matching the softpaq ssid . . .

the system ME firmware version is  11.8.86.3909 LP . . .

the system ME firmware version is same or newer than the softpaq ME  firmware version, skip the firmware update process

Our options are exhausted. Unfortunately, I cannot help you any further.

It could be a technical defect. You should replace the battery!

Good luck
