Hi @kimemeny,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Follow these steps:

Verify Touchpad Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and ensure the touchpad is enabled.

Check BIOS Settings:

  • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing F10 or Esc during startup).
  • Navigate to the Device Configuration and ensure the touchpad is enabled.

Update BIOS:

  • Visit the HP Support Website and look for BIOS updates relevant to your specific model.
  • Download and install the latest BIOS update.

Reinstall Touchpad Driver:

  • Since the touchpad driver is missing in Device Manager, it might not be properly installed.
  • Visit the HP ENVY x360 13-bf0000 Drivers page and download the latest touchpad driver.
  • Install the driver manually.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and ensure all updates are installed.
  • Windows Update sometimes fixes driver issues.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the laptop, unplug all external devices, and remove the battery (if removable).
  • Hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power and battery, and turn the laptop on.

Run HP Hardware Diagnostics:

  • Restart the laptop and press F2 during startup to enter the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  • Run the touchpad test to check for hardware issues.

Reinstall Windows:

  • As a last resort, consider resetting your PC or reinstalling Windows 11. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery and choose Reset this PC.

Let me know how it goes.
