I currently have HD Intel Graphics 520 and would like to upgrade it to RTX or GTX GPU card. Please advise if and how this can be supported. Thank you.

No you can't the HD Intel Graphics 520 is embedded to CPU, nowhere for you to add/upgrade. Does your machine have Thunderbolt 3 port ? If yes, you may be able use eGPU such as Omen Accelerator.

No I don't have a Thunderbolt. Can a USB converter be used instead to connect to a eGPU?

Many thanks again!
