Product: HP ENVY x360 m6 convertible
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP ENVY x360 m6 convertible, and I usually prep my classes before they start-- but more and more, I have DVD's, and I like to review them to see which one I'll show that day (I have a 20-part DVD series on US history, for example)  But I do need an external DVD player for my envy... Too many on the market!  Which ones--specific brands, etc--would you suggest that would be (of course) compatible and "playable" on my ENVY

There are many around. I tested few of them from LG, Samsung and at the end I bought a Pioneer, Please try

Mine is an older device, it can burn BluRay disc's. It is few years old now but still going strong.

Hi,

All external USB DVD drives will work with the notebook. I usually go with a brand name such as Samsung, LG ...

 

Example:
