My laptop keeps showing no battery detected even though i have the original battery inside. I removed it and reinstalled it to see if it works and the problem still persists. my pc cannot function withhout being plugged into the outlet.

I see from the Maintenance & Service guide that your laptop is from the 2019 model year.

Laptop Lithium Ion batteries are only guaranteed for one year by all manufacturers.

You should replace the battery with a genuine HP replacement battery that has the HP logo on it.

It needs to be replaced as soon as possible, since the BIOS gets the current it needs to maintain its settings from the main laptop battery.

Only purchase a battery that has the HP part number, not the generic HT03XL identifier.

A generic battery may not work as you expect it.
