Hello
I have updated my G3 Studio 2016 BIOS manufacturer update - Critical. HP Nootbook bios update system (N82) bios version 01/03/2019
since then, the laptop does not charge the battery. It works only on the power supply. How to solve the problem? Update made by suport asistant. bios default settings.

Can you run a diagnostic test on the battery or has it gone missing from the system? How old is the battery. I think a Zbook G3 is about 3 years old and that is about how long a battery lasts.

just to rule out the obvious, does the battery actually drains to zero? I mean, in some laptops you will see "not charging" if the battery is at 95% or higher, I guess to extend battery lifespan.

Integrated battery tests have disappeared from the bios after the update. the battery works perfectly just before the update and was charged around 80%. The battery is in good condition. The battery transferred to another laptop (identical but with the previous version of the bios probably 1.07 works perfectly.) In the main laptop after updating the official bios Laptop does not charge it, if you run the laptop with the battery disconnected only on the charger - also works correctly - or the charger is working. exclusively biocode activation.
