POWER CORD<Ok..probably not the right board/forum: But wife has out of the box HP pavilion . 

The cord/connection to the transformer will not stay in with out wiggling/moving/praying that it

will stay connected and show the led for orange/blue !!  Finally have it taped in and with a heavy weight

but tiny movement and it looses connection.  Cord is out of box bad??..anyone experienced this??  seems sloppy design!

Order new one..guess so ..anybody with same/similar problems..long question..sorry

Thanks for your interest..as mentioned.  This is a brand new out-of-the box  under warranty 'Lap Top' with a terrible design flaw with the accompanying power cord..simply asking community if this was a one of the kind problem??  Apparently it is..We are reordering a power cord.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
