I have brought HP 15.6 Laptop 15-fd0000 on 25th may 2025
As per MY HP app , it shows that the warranty of laptop starts from 23 marach 2025
and ends of 24 march 2026
which isn't 1 year from my purchase
which I don't understand why does it show this date
2 nd problem -
My laptop gets hot even on light working
around 60-70 degree celsius
which is not normal
the fan continously on
I hope so you will get my problem and help to get out from this
thank you

Hi @vivek6687

Warranty Date Discrepancy
Verify Purchase Date: Check your purchase receipt or any proof of purchase document you have for the laptop to confirm the actual date of purchase.
Contact HP Support: If the dates in your warranty do not match your purchase date, you can contact HP Support to rectify the situation. You may need to provide them with a copy of your proof of purchase to update your warranty dates correctly. You can start this process through the HP Customer Support website.
Overheating Issue
Check for Ventilation: Ensure that your laptop’s vents are not obstructed. Use the laptop on a hard, flat surface to improve airflow. Dust or debris inside the vents can hinder proper cooling.
Update Software: Make sure your laptop's BIOS, drivers, and operating system are up to date. Use the HP Support Assistant to automatically find and install updates.
Perform a System Scan: Use HP Support Assistant to perform a system health check to identify if any processes are consuming high resources.
Reduce Startup Programs: Disable unnecessary startup programs that may be running in the background, using the Task Manager.
Cooling Pad: Consider using a laptop cooling pad to help manage temperature if you often use your laptop for extended periods or high-demand tasks.
