HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0029ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop processor died. Can I change it without replacing the motherboard or is it impossible to do? If I can change, then what processor can I put on my  hp pavilion gaming 15-ec-0029ur?

You have to change the whole system board which contains

  • AMD Ryzen™ 5 3550H with Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics (2.1 GHz base clock, up to 3.7 GHz max boost clock, 6 MB cache, 4 cores)
  • AMD Integrated SoC
  • AMD Radeon™ Vega 8 Graphics
  • DNVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 Graphics (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated)

Your machine came with  FreeDOS. Because all of them are on one piece of hardware called System Board.

Regards.
