Hi,

I have the same problem. I will acquire the cable. But my doubt is the following:

Any hard drive is compatible with the HP 15dw1007la?

Or only those specified in the guide:

Description                           Spare part number

2 TB, 5400 rpm                     912487-855

1 TB, 5400 rpm                     L30422-005

500 GB, 5400 rpm               778186-005

Hard drive board                   L52024-001

Hard drive cable                    L52025-001

I would appreciate if someone could confirm this point to me.

Thank you

I bought the connector on Aliexpress and it worked very well by connecting it to my TOSHIBA hard drive. My current laptp is an HP model hp 15-dw1007la laptop.

I leave the link where you purchased the product:

I hope it serves.

Adquiri el conector para mi laptop hp 15-dw1007la desde aliexpress:

The product worked wonders for me. It is an 8-pin connector apparently one of the most recent. The hard drive to which you connect it is a toshiba and that is not one of those specified in the HP manual.

I hope it helps you.
