HP Laptop 17-cn0xxx
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently bought a HP 17-CN0023DX and tried to replace its 256GB M.2 NVME drive with a Samsung 980 M.2 NVME 1TB (not PRO). I swapped the original ssd with the new one and tried to install Windows 11 on it, but the on installer wouldn't detect the drive. I checked the BIOS and the drive was detected by the BIOS has a Non-Physical Raid Drive.

I looked online for solutions and tried many things. I tested the drive on another computer and it showed, so I tried formatting it from that computer, but it didn't work I put it back on the HP laptop.

I tried with a Windows 10 installer, but it didn't change anything. I then tried installing a Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver while in the Windows installer and it allowed the installer to detect the drive, however when I select it, it prevents me from continuing and now displays a warning message "Windows is unable to install to selected location. Error: 0x80300001".

With all this I am wondering, is the drive compatible with the notbook model and if yes does anyone can help me find a solution?

I already tried formatting the drive once the installer detected the drive, it created three different partitions but is still didn't worked. I also tried deleting all partitions but it didn't change anything.

As for the link you sent, I only had a mouse and the boot usb plug in. I'll try the last fix suggested with the removal of the usb while in the install
