Hi. I would like to check to make sure before I buy. Is the HyperX Impact DDR4 2666mhz CL15 SODIMM 2 x 16gb ram compatible with my hp 14s-dq1504sa?

Hi:

 

I don't believe that it will work because you can't change the memory timings in the BIOS.

 

You need to install the standard DDR4-2666 memory with the standard timings of CL19.

 

This is the kit that Crucial recommends for your notebook...

I checked my current memory with the CPU-Z app and my CL jumps between CL15 (and around 2000mhz) to CL19 (2666mhz) during use. Does it mean it might be compatible with a lower CL ram?

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know.

 

Check the timing specs of the memory currently installed with your app and buy memory with the same timing specs.

 

I'm thinking it is CL19.
