I'm trying to removed the rear cover of a new 2019 version of the 15-db0051od, Product ID: 4BM05UA laptop to install a Samsung SM961 OEM M.2 drive and can't find a manual for it. Neither can I remove the cover completely to access the M.2 slot due to the front of the cover not freeing itself from the screw mount although the screw is removed. In other words, I can free the cover all the way around the laptop except the front.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

You will find the HDD R & R procedure in chapter 6.

 

Some of those steps will lead you to the instructions for removing the bottom cover.
