According to specs it came with a 500 gig 5400 rpm SATA laptop hard drive.
Service Manual:
Pages 37-41 show how to do the replacement.
Any 2.5 inch wide and 7 mm or 9.5 mm thick hard drive or even sold state drive will work.
This would be an inexpensive duplicate replacement:
Bigger and faster:
Solid state:
Post back with any more questions. We can also help with software migration/reinstall.

OK I bought the hard drive as recommended in this forum and installed it I only had a windows 7 cd to install an operating system so I installed it. Now the problem is that I do not have any device drivers for this laptop using windows 7 that means no internet connection. I am not sure what to do at this point. The laptop came with windows 10 but not with a cd or anything.
I downloaded a windows 10 version on to a thumb drive and made it bootable and change the bios to boot from the usb drive it started to install but I guess since it saw windows 7 it would not install over top of it
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
thank you
