Hello,

I am replacing my ssd drive on my computer. I found one that is a NVMe, perfect GB (500GB) for my computer; will it be okay to switch?

Thank you in advance.

Hi:

As long as your notebook has an Intel core processor, a NVMe SSD should work fine.

Notebooks in that model series with the Intel Pentium/Celeron processors do not have M.2 slots.

The drive capacities are just what HP offered in the model series, not the max storage capacity supported.

I looked on the manual and it says that the 512 and 256 NVMe and 256 and 128 SATA for ssd replacements. So will I be okay to replace it?
