I need help! My laptop screen is separating from the case. I have never dropped the laptop and only have had it approx. 2 years now, and had no other issues besides this. The warranty has expired, but after doing some research it is clear to see that this issue is rather common. It seems like it is quite difficult to get ahold of someone without having to pay $60 for a non-warranty call. Can I send this in or have it repaired somewhere, especially since this is such a widespread problem? I can no longer shut it and take it around with me- which is critical as I am a college student. Has anyone had any luck with a similar issue??

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
