I would like to know what model (type) is the second battery for HP Elitbook 8540p. thenk a lot

It uses a battery "slice" that clips onto the bottom in the docking adapter:

 

http://www.laptopcharge.com/category/notebook+battery/hp/elitebook+8540w/lhp221.aspx

 

This says 8540w but your laptop has the same docking connector and can accept this kind of battery.

Thenk you for the information but I want to know, this second battery is 14.8 V and the first battery is 14.4V,  does it have or might couse eny problem for my elitebook 8540p?
