suitable battery for my HP Notebook

My laptop battery is burned out, need to replace it. Can someone suggest a suitable HP battery for my HP Notebook model 17-by1022cl?

In most cases we have to purchase a compatible battery - HP is not a battery manufacturer .

A few "HP" batteries are available from the HP Parts Store

If your battery is not available from the Store,

"Fat" Battery / Bloated Battery / Swollen Battery – Sealed / Internal Battery

• Swollen battery might be hiding OR there might be evidence that the battery has inflated.  For example, notebook case warps or won’t close, touch-pad stops working, “odd” bulging near the keyboard.

• If the battery is in a swollen or bloated condition, the battery must be removed from the computer and replaced.  There are no other remedies, tests, or useful options.

Sure, that works.

Personally, I've purchased several batteries through Amazon - all without any problems with the product or shipment.
