I'm trying to turn off the touchpad while I have my mouse connected to my laptop. Does anyone know how this is done?

@ronbibb , welcome to the forum.

Here is a guide to help you disable your Touchpad when a USB or Blutooth mouse is connected to your laptop:  https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-touchpad-while-mouse-connected-windows-10#diable_touchpad...

As you will see, it can be done from the Settings or Control Panel.  I always use the Settings to disable mine.
