Hi @Karan1011 ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing issues with the touchpad on your HP Pavilion x360 after updating to Windows 11, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
Check for Updates: Ensure that your operating system and drivers are up to date. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any available updates. If there are updates, install them and see if the issue is resolved.
Update Touchpad Drivers: Go to the Device Manager by right-clicking on the Start button and selecting "Device Manager." Locate the "Mice and other pointing devices" section, right-click on your touchpad, and select "Update driver." Choose to search for updated driver software automatically. If an updated driver is found, follow the on-screen instructions to install it.
Roll Back Touchpad Driver: If updating the driver doesn't help, you can try rolling back to the previous version of the touchpad driver. In the Device Manager, right-click on your touchpad, select "Properties," go to the "Driver" tab, and click on "Roll Back Driver" if the option is available.
Reinstall Touchpad Driver: Uninstall the touchpad driver from the Device Manager, restart your laptop, and let Windows automatically reinstall the driver. To uninstall the driver, right-click on your touchpad in the Device Manager and select "Uninstall device."
Check Touchpad Settings: Ensure that the touchpad is not disabled in the settings. Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad and make sure the touchpad is enabled. You can also customize touchpad settings from this menu.
BIOS/UEFI Update: Check the HP website for any available BIOS/UEFI updates for your laptop model. Updating the BIOS/UEFI may resolve compatibility issues and improve overall system stability.
System Restore: If the issue started after a recent update, you can use System Restore to revert your system to a previous state. Search for "Create a restore point" in the Windows search bar, go to the "System Protection" tab, and click on "System Restore" to follow the on-screen instructions.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
