So im not sure if i have to get a certain kind of 8 g of ram. Just wondering if anyone can point me to exactly which one i need. I got a

HP 250 g6 is a series of many machines, what is the CPU of your machine ?

 

(a) For machines with Intel Core processor, you can upgrade to 16GB (2 x 8GB) using

              https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct2kit102464bf160b/ct16601602

 

(b) For others, they have 1 slot of RAM and support 8GB max using

             https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct102464bf160b/ct10583892

alright so my processor says intel(R) Core(TM) i3-6006U CPU @2.00GHz. Im Assuming that's the intel core processor
