I have an older HP Pavilion Envy 17t-cd000 and I need to upgrade my SK hynix (model #: HFM256GDJTNG-8310A) 256 GB Internal SSD NVME, PCI Express, M.2. to a 500 GB or larger. I've found a Crucial P2 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD – (model # CT500P2SSD8) on Amazon.
Q. Is this Crucial SSD compatible with my Envy 17t-cd000?
On the surface, it appears to be compatible.
Thank you for any assistance and advice.

Hi:
It should work fine, but you can do better, IMHO. The Crucial P2 has a considerably lower price though.
Amazon.com: Crucial P2 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD Up to 2400MB/s - CT500P2SSD8 : Electronics
Much faster sequential read/write speeds than the Crucial P2.
