Hey Everyone,
I'd like to upgrade my Notebook ram and hard drive, what are some of the things I should be looking for to upgrade successfully, and want to know maximum size for ram & hard
my lap is 4g ram & 640 HDD, i want upgrade to 6or 8 g ram and 1T HDD

Those are pretty modest goals and very doable.
You will need the Service Manual:
Two customer-accessible/upgradeable memory module slots supporting up to 8 GB of RAM
Supports 7-mm/9.5-mm/12.7-mm, 2.5-in SATA hard drives with HP DriveGuard
See p. 52 for hard drive "how to" and p. 54 for RAM.
4 gig RAM module:
4-GB (PC3-10600, 1333-MHz, DDR3) 621569-001
Hard drive, 1 TB 7200 rpm:
If you need help with software migration/reinstallation post back.
