HP Notebook - 15-db0011ds
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After checking whether or not my laptop was compatible to accept W 11 upgrade, I was told due to my processor, I could not upgrade to W 11.  Everything else in the list was ok.  It did say there might be something I could do so my processor would pass their compatibility test making it possible to upgrade to W 11.

Here's what the compatibility test said:

This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements

Check to see if there are things you can do, and if not, you'll keep getting Windows 10 updates.

X      The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11. (more about supported CPUs)

         Processor:  AMD A4-9125 Radeon R3, 4 4 Compute Cores 2C + 2G

OK    This PC supports Secure Boot

OK    TPM 2.0 enabled on this PC

OK    There is at least 4 GB of system memory (RAM)

OK    The system disk is 64 GB or larger

OK    The processor has two or more cores

OK    The processor clock speed is 1 GHz or faster

I'm currently running the following:

Edition Windows 10 Home - Version 21H1
Installed on ‎3/‎23/‎2021
OS build 19043.1586
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0

Any feedback on anything I might be able to do besides buy a new computer would be helpful.

You can't upgrade processor on your machine because it is integrated (soldered) to the system board. But you still can upgrade to Windows 11 using

Installing Windows 11 on devices that don't meet minimum system requirements

Then wait for few years to get/buy new machine which.

Regards.
