I did buy the SSD.

No problem installing windows 10.

There is a problem with the system image.

My hard driver is 1 TB the SSD  is 500 GB

The SSD  drive is of less capacity of the original drive partition used to create a system image backup. Windows system image can remember the partition size of the source disk. The destination drive must equal or exceed the capacity of the original drive partition.

Is there a way to buy pass this problem?

I can not find any.

Anytime.

Glad to have been of assistance.

Yes, I was pretty sure you would be happy with a SSD--even running at half it's rated SATA speed.
