Product: HP pavilion 570-p081a
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello HP support community, I have a question
i was thinking on upgrading my CPU as a A8 9600 is good but not good enough. i was thinking on upgrading my CPU to a ryzen 3 3200G because of the power usage and the efficiency it offers but i don't know if i have to have the cpu compatible with my motherboard.
I would like to know what is compatible with my motherboard and what the community recommends
thank you for you time.

Your desktop HP Pavilion 570-P081a has willow2 motherboard with AM4 socket. Generally all modern AMD Ryzen processors run on AM4 socket, so upgrading to Ryzen 3 3200G is a good choice than A8 9600. But as of HP specifications your motherboard, your motherboard can support AMD A12-9800 processor. Some people out there say that you can upgrade to higher AMD processor by upgrading your BIOS compatible to the processor you are upgrading to. Here upgrading to Ryzen 3 3200G is risky thing, I prefer upgrading your pc to AMD A12-9800 which is a slight higher variant of A series. Its worth trying to upgrade to Ryzen 3 but its a trial - and - error thing.
