The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06085996
The manual (page 2) says
Two memory module slots (Ryzen, A9 processors):
Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable
DDR4-2400 dual channel support (Ryzen, Athlon processors)
DDR4-1866 dual channel support (A9 processors)
Supports up to 16 GB of system RAM in the following configurations:
● 16384 MB (8192 MB × 2)
● 12288 MB (8192 MB × 1 + 4096 MB × 1)
● 8192 MB (8192 MB × 1 + 4096 × 2)
● 4096 MB (4096 MB × 1) (your machine)
Therefore you can upgrade to
- 8GB: add 4GB more using SAME existing RAM as slot 1 or using https://eu.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct4g4sfs824a/ct13230128 (will run at 1866 MHz)
- 16GB (2 x 8GB) using compatible RAM such as https://eu.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k8g4sfs824a/ct13230106 (will run at 1866MHz)
Regards.
