 Good morning everybody.
I would like to know if this cable can be used to connect a second external monitor to the usb c port of my laptop (after connecting the first external monitor to the HDMI port).

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect a HP or non-HP docking station to the usb c port?

This is the NON HP DOCKING.

Hi @Lica1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, it is possible to connect a docking station to the USB-C port on the HP Gaming Pavilion - 15, as long as the docking station is compatible with the USB-C port and supports the necessary features you require.

The USB-C port on the HP Gaming Pavilion - 15 is a versatile port that supports various functionalities, including data transfer, power delivery, and video output. Many docking stations on the market utilize USB-C connectivity and can provide additional ports, such as USB ports, HDMI or DisplayPort outputs, Ethernet ports, and audio jacks, allowing you to expand the connectivity options of your laptop.

When choosing a docking station, make sure to check its compatibility with your laptop model and the specific features you need. While there are many docking stations available from HP and other manufacturers, it's essential to ensure compatibility and functionality by reviewing the specifications and compatibility information provided by the manufacturer.

This way, you can ensure that the docking station will work seamlessly with your HP Gaming Pavilion - 15 and provide the desired connectivity and functionality.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thank you for your reply. I know what I need for the docking station: I need 2 or 3 HDMI exit ports to connect 2 or 3 external monitors.

Which docking station do you suggest?

Thanks again
