can anyone help please, i need an adapter from old, normal USB tor the larger USB port on my x360 I have one for the smaller c port but I need one for the larger c type next to it, I wish I could include photograph to explain better.

You might have a normal USB A or a smaller USB C on your device. 

You can add a photo with the camera icon above.
