@turtle11,

The RAM of your HP 15-Gw0000 Laptop PC (1E418AV), as per: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06646122.pdf and: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-gw0000, can be upgraded up to 2 x 8GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, SODIMM, 260-pin RAM sticks.

The processor (+ optional discrete graphics memory) is part of the system board, therefore it cannot be upgraded, unless you were to change out your system board, which would be expensive and uneconomical.

You could install an M.2 NVMe SSD and make that your primary (boot) drive, which would substantially speed up your laptop.  And/or if you happen to have an HDD installed, to swap that with a SATA SSD, which would also improve your laptop's performance.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
