Hi,

Your notebook supports max 32GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM (2x16GB)

There are two slots and at the moment you have one 8GB module. You can purchase from your preferred brand

Example:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-gaming-15-cx0140tx#MEMORYFi...

 

On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM
