There's no easy solution-- HP is not acknowledging the flawed design and will only replace the screen at full cost to the customer.

The solution is replacing the screen for almost $400, basically half the cost of the laptop. HP won't acknowledge the flaw for any of the NUMEROUS customers who have posted about this issue. It should be a recall, not a warranty issue, because it's clear that this is a widespread issue with their product. We're all in the same boat :(.

I have the same problem, bottom right screen popping out after trying out tablet mode for the very first time. Another poster started a Facebook group to bring together enough unhappy customers to start a lawsuit - the group is called “HP defected product Lawsuit”. She needs at least 50 people to get the process started.
