Good day

I disconnected the internal battery and plugged the PC in and it still didn't turn on. The indicator light too doesn't turn on .

The situation is basically the same as when the battery was connected.

Hello .@Ub6424,

Do you think this has anything to do with the issue?

This is not good.

(1) Disconnect charger

(2) Connect battery

(3) Power on notebook ( without charger ! )

(4) Please report your results

I already connected the battery and tried turning it on both plugged and unplugged but it still doesn't power on.

This is not good ! Your motherboard has a short circuit !

Sorry, but in your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
[Always recommended ]
Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges must be renewed
[Always recommended ]
The function of the fan(s) must be checked

Short circuit test / repair

- ( if required ) Bios (chip) desolder, reflash, Bios (chip) solder in

charger/battery test

- Components test

- General cleaning ...

--- HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support

--- HP warranty expired:

If you can't do that, you should have it <serviced> by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

--- Alternative:

Buy a good used / new notebook

Good luck

I guess that's it.

Thank you very much for your time, I appreciate.

Out of curiosity, was disabling those drivers a good idea?

Hello @DanteNG01

You're welcome

This is a software driver that is not related to the current technical problem.

Kind regards

Good day

It's me again. I tried another charger on the PC and now it powers on but these issues still bother me;

*Battery icon is same as before (attached photo below)

*When plugged in the charging indicator immediately goes white (full) and starts blinking.

*Diagnostics photo also attached

*When unplugged it lasts about 5 minutes and trips off.

I'm worried the first charger was damaged by the PC (is this a possibility?)

Also what can I do about the other issues?

Hello @DanteNG01

(1) So you replaced the charger, that's good.

(2) Disconnect charger

(3) Reconnect battery

(4) Connect charger

(5) Test again

(6) if battery cannot be detected or charged -> replace battery !
