I was able to uninstall the 3D Drive Guard, but after rebooting and reinstalling, I received the same error message.  I will just wait for a new patch to come up from hp.

Without reading back through 6 pages of this thread I am not sure which version you are trying. It may have been updated since this thread began- one of the pitfalls of joinng an old thread instead of starting a new post.

Newest version as of today 2/8/18 that I am aware of is:
