Hello, I want to buy an OMEN MAX 16 16-ah0005nl (255HX, RTX 5070 Ti), which here in Italy is covered by the standard warranty of 24 months regulated by the EU. Problem is, I will need to spend a few months in Japan later this year, and I was wondering if I could send the notebook under warranty for repairs there, should the need arise. In other words, is the warranty on that laptop international? Another user (here https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/HP-support-in-Japan/td-p/898933...) said that HP Japan refused to do the repair since the notebook was not made in Japan. So, is there a chance that they will refuse to repair it and that I will be stuck there with a broken notebook? Thank you.

You can claim warranty within EU.

HP Japan will not be able to accept/repair EU device and vice versa.
