HP laptop will not turn itself off nor will it start. I have carried out the hard reset suggested but this doesn't sort the problem out. The laptop keeps trying to start but then the screen goes off and there is a single blip sound. Any ideas out there to sort this issue?

Hi apologies for the delay in replying. I have since found out that it was a motherboard failure and I should scrap the machine. I have found the model number 17-y013na and serial number [personal info removed] can someone please tell me what motherboard I need, to fix this machine. There are several labels on the board, but which one identifies the board that has been fitted. Product number is X0L85EA#ABU system board Id 8224
thanks in anticipation
