I have a old laptop with a ton of pictures and went to tur it on because I as going to take them of and put them on my new laptop but when i went to turn it on the screen didn't turn on so I looked it up and because there was also a blinking light its needed a bios update or just needed the bios reinstalled so I want to the website to download the bios but the only bios they had was for windows 10 when mine I think mine is windows 8 I can't remember though it has a windows 8 sticker but I can't remember if it was ever updated to windows 10. How can I find the right bios?

Ok.
You can use the BIOS available in the software page for your product as it is compatible with Windows 10, 8, and 8.1
So you can try recovering BIOS.
On page 34 of service manual you can see the steps to remove the Hard Drive if needed to recover personal files.

Hi,
What is the model of the notebook

Usually, if the notebook does not turn on it is not a BIOS problem. What LED is flashing and is there a flashing code (example 3 long 3 short)
If you only want to get the pictures from the old PC, it might be easier just to remove the Hard Drive and then use an USB to Sata adapter to transfer your personal files from the old hard drive to a new device
