Someone was going to assist me in my attempt to save my files & I'm still waiting on them for availability which may not be for another week. I will post a reply to the last suggestion you gave as soon as I try it.

Sorry for the delay in response, I was hoping to save the files on the Intel ssd. I gave up on that and finally did clean all in cmd. So right now I have a regular ssd with my boot and os in the primary slot. And i moved the intel ssd to the secondary slot. I'm still having the same issue that I can not see the intel ssd at all in "this pc". If I go to the create and format disk it still only showing up as a 27gb drive. Intel optane memory manager also only shows 27gb. I have been looking all over the community and it seems this is an issue that numerous people had and were never solved. As a note when I went to device manager I saw some errors. The intel(r) nvme controller has a message "this device cannot start. Code 10 which seems to just be a generic error code. The other error is the thunderbolt controller- 15eb with a message "windows stopped the device cause it reported problems (code 43).

I'm hoping you can assist with getting the intell ssd back to showing its full 512gb capacity and how I can enable optane again once that's fixed. Thank you!

In that case, I would suggest you disable Intel Optane memory in the Setup Utility:

  • Open the BIOS by restarting the computer and repeatedly pressing F10 to enter Setup.
  • Select Advanced, select System Options, and click Configure Storage Controller for Intel Optane to remove the check.
  • Restart the computer.

F10 to enter setup. There is no option "advanced". There was the uefi hii configuration but that doesn't have an option to enable or disable optane.

I booted up pressing escape and found advance but I can't find the option to enable or disable optane.
