You will see an option 'System Options' to proceed further. Here are the steps to disable:
Open the BIOS by restarting the computer and repeatedly pressing F10 to enter Setup.
Select Advanced, select System Options, and click Configure Storage Controller for Intel Optane to remove the check.
Restart the computer.

If you find the Advanced settings tab missing in the BIOS, that is because your manufacturer has locked the settings on your computer as the improper use of the Advanced settings in BIOS could damage your computer.
Please load bios defaults and check if it works by performing these steps:
- Please keep tapping the Esc key gently several times as soon as you power on the computer.
- It takes you to the startup menu.
- Then press the F10 key to go the bios.
- Then press F9 load setup defaults and select yes and push “enter.”
- Then press F10 to save changes and exit and restart the computer and check again.

Thank you for the help you have provided. I followed the steps confirmed the change with f10 it auto restarted my laptop, I checked and I still have the issue. Opening file explorer and navigating to this pc, the intel ssd doesn't even show up. In the intel optane memory and storage management tool still shows it as a 27gb. And no valid disk pair in your system error.

Is there a possibility that since I had to do a fresh widows install using the media creation tool, that there would be an issue with the right drivers not installing (I saw this seemed to be an issue of some sorts with windows 11).

I can't remember exactly but I was looking at support for the intel h10 on intel website. I think I had to make an account and there was an option to chat with a representative so I just went for it. And your welcome sad to see another person with the same issue.
