OMG ! I have the same problem. in the middle of update process it has been verified the BIOS image that which is going to be update. And than it hanged-up on "Boot Block flashing" process. After 15mins later, I restarted manually and than it showed the boot block flashing screen again next it found the USB drive and recovered the BIOS to version that which is not upgradable(F.58 Rev.A) automatically. I waited my old version(F.42) in recovery process. I hold my breath too long.... ::) Guys, what are you doing? are u trying to make another HWlevel keyLogger !? 😛

At this point I'm hesitant to update the bios even if they released a patch. I guess I'm gonna make as many backups as I can. It's incredible how the situation is slowly turning south as much as it's possible.

HP, I demand one more year of warranty on this variant laptop you called gaming laptop because of its unreliable, unstable, overheated, buggy,... Your business in the future will depend on how you handle this issue now.

no, I'm using a Ryzen controller now. I set the trigger to 67 degrees so that the processor would reset frequencies. The performance is still lower than when buying a laptop but higher than 99% power consumption. You can play but trotting starts in tense scenes

guys i think i solved the problem. you just need to disable the hibernation by opening cmd (admin) and writing " powercfg.exe /hibernate off " and press enter.
this worked form me and the pc is not blocking anymore. let me know if it worked for you
