I recently purchased an HP Victus laptop from Arihant Digital Store, Crystal Court, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. I clearly asked for the RTX 3050 model with 6GB GPU. The seller confirmed that I would receive that model, so I made the payment.

But after checking the device at home, I discovered the following serious issues:

The laptop is 12th Gen, not the model requested.

The GPU is only 4GB, not the configuration I asked for.

Most importantly, the HP warranty is already expired, which means the product is old/used, but it was sold to me as NEW.

The seller intentionally did not show me laptop specs clearly at the time of handover.

This is a clear case of fraud and mis-selling.

Device Information:

Serial Number: >Do not include the product serial number or any private information<

Product Number: A03H0PA#ACJ

Purchase Date: 30-Nov-2025

Invoice Number: >removed<

I trusted HP as a brand, but receiving a used laptop with expired warranty is unacceptable.

I request HP to:

1. Investigate this retailer

2. Take strict action

3. Provide me a proper resolution or replacement, as I was sold an

expired-warranty laptop as new

Hello @Mayank7891 ,

Welcome to the HP community.

Just to clear things up, this is a peer-to-peer community and not a replacement for HP Support.

As a new guest to our community, I would advise the community search functionality as it bears answers for most questions.

A quick search for the term "warranty" finds, as an example, this >Brand new desktop already out of warranty?<

One of our friendly volunteers explains exactly why this is happening and also shows how the warranty, if entitled, can be corrected using the Warranty Dispute page.

You may also want to search for the Keywords India and Warrany

Most of us are just volunteers here, so maybe work with the retailer who sold the device initially?

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
