@Enginestechie,

Thanks for posting back.  I understand the frustration.  However the notebook was designed with an operating system in mind and when you upgrade to another OS there are always bumps in the road and this has been the case for ever.  Keep an eye on the hp support site for updates and releases for Windows 10.

Thanks again for the post and have a great day.

@Enginestechie,

Hello and thanks for posting on the HP support forum.  What you can do at this point until there are more updates released from microsoft and the hardware vendors is run the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

If that fails to solve the issue.  The only option will be to roll back the operating system to the previous one until HP gets the drivers so that they can release them on the support page for your notebook that are for Windows 10.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

has HP notified Microsoft of the situation? this really wasn't a solution! Will I be notified when they provide you with the fix for the problem that you have notified them of?

Would you be happy if you had spent $1300 on a laptop that the major selling feature no longer works on?

I look forward to hearing your responce.

I´d say you are offering professional communication, but not really a feasible solution. The latter would be more important to me. - So in what time frame can we expect an upgrade that adresses this issues effectivly? The OS is out since 6 weeks by now and I believe that must be about the time that the issues is know.

@premiumcustomer, @Enginestechie,

Hello again and thanks for posting back.  All that can be done is keep checking.  With any new OS that gets released it can take a few days to up to a year before they get all the bugs out of the system.

Keep an eye your systems support page for any releases and run the updates from microsoft every couple weeks.

Thanks again for the post and have a great day.

These posts are in 2015.  Here we are in May 2016, my laptop (Envy x360 15-w101na) is brand new and the keyboard does not switch off when I rotate it.

Surely there should be a way to manually turn off the keyboard if the software wont do it automatically.
