Hello @madyface972
Welcome !
This can be caused by hardware, software or BIOS misconfiguration issues.
- Let's try to find the root cause of your issue.
- Start by performing the hardware diagnostics. Watch this video >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JXUp43ahHA
and run the F2 diagnostics. Run Fast/Quick test OR if these are not available, check the memory and the Hard disk drive/storage
Let me know the results.

Thank you for the details @madyface972 and for the picture.
HP has an official article for such issues - you may want to check it out >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01443463
Basically, the reasons for this can be HDD problem, BIOS misconfiguration or no working operating system.
I would suggest the following:
1. Check the article above
2. Enter BIOS (F10) and reset its settings to default
- If the above fails, reinstall Windows 10 from scratch. Here are instructions how to reinstall Windows 10 and give your PC a fresh clean start >> https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/Recovery-disks-not-working-on-l...
Based on your description, I believe that your PC either does not have an OS or it is corrupted - this is the root cause of the message. Please, keep me posted for updates or if any issues.

You don't need to disassemble the computer.
Did you follow the detailed instructions to write Windows 10 to the USB device with Media Creation Tool ?
Have you performed booting from Esc/F9 and then selecting USB device as shown here >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSN0qzXayUY
Can you please, provide details what have you done and what fails.

Hmmm, ok. This is again a misconfiguration in the BIOS/UEFI - the secure boot configuration.
Enter BIOS (F10) and navigate to the settings to DISABLE Secure Boot
- Here are details what Secure Boot is and how to disable it step by step >> https://support.hp.com/ro-en/document/c04784866
- Here is another thread >> https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/The-selected-boot-device-failed-Press-enter-t...
Disable the Secure Boot , save the changes, exit BIOS
and let me know if you can boot after that

Thank you for your answer, but when i want to disable notings change...
And when i want to active the "Secure Boot" i have the follow message : "Selected boot image did not Authenticate. Press <Enter> to Continue
And your second solutions here doesn't work for me because is for OS Windows 8, but i'm on system Windows 10 : https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/The-selected-boot-device-failed-Press-enter-t...
Must i have to updated my bios ?

Thank you for the update. Windows 8 or 10 - they act pretty much the same and the boot options has last changed when Windows 8 arose.
No, I wouldn't update the BIOS/UEFI at this time.
I still think that it is a BIOS/UEFI misconfiguration. Check this article to understand the difference between BIOS and UEFI.
Even though we (people) call it BIOS, actually your PC uses UEFI. Secure Boot is one part of the coin, the other is related to BIOS or UEFI mode. It depends on what computer you originally wrote the USB pendrive on because the Microsoft utility checks its mode and write it this way (this mode).
Basically, we have BIOS and UEFI but still UEFI can simulate the old BIOS mode (CSM mode) if needed.
Let's start from scratch:
1. Make sure you have an empty USB pendrive at least 4 GB
2. Check the attached PDF file (below) - it contains detailed instructions. Concentrate on page 2, 3 and 4
3. Re-download Windows 10 ISO image using Heidoc
4. Download Rufus
5. Use Rufus to create Windows 10 bootable image using the ISO you downloaded. Make sure you make it this way:
MBR partition scheme , for BIOS (or UEFI-CSM)
6. Once ready, concentrate your efforts on the affected PC
7. Boot in BIOS/UEFI using F10, go to change these:
- SECURE BOOT - DISABLED status
- LEGACY MODE - ENABLED status
Save the changes and exit (details can be found here)
8. Insert the newly created USB pendrive and try to boot from it using Esc / F9
Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
