Okay, Phil.  Will do.  Let me know the answer to my second question and I will proceed.

Hi Phil,

Okay, installed driver and re-booted.  Hoped I wouldn't see that Unknown Device in Device Manager, but, unfortunately I still do.

Ok lets try what I previously suggested last night...

1. Hold down Windows Key on keyboard+S, this should bring up the search bar.
2. Search for sp72320
3. Move this folder to the following directory In File Explorer, path C:\ProgramData\Package
4. Right click the realtek driver in device manager, select update driver software.
5. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
6. In the file path copy this directory path C:\ProgramData\Package

Is my path of path C:\ProgramData\Package Cache correct?  I don't have just a Package subfolder.

Yes that fine. Just as long as we are using the program data path. This is a shot in the dark, but it was something I found from a person who had the exact same issue as you and apparently this fixed it.

You may also need to include the sp folder name in the path as well.

Sounds good.  By the way, I prefer to search File Explorer directly instead of using the Windows Key + S if that is okay with you.
