Hi , I purchaserd a new laptop the 24th of March at one of your distributors [content removed] ,saudi arabia and I transferred all of my business work and PhD data to this laptop, after two days it just turned off and only black screen appeared. I went to the distributor to see if they can take a look at it. They told me because it hasn't been 15 days after purchase, they will give me a brand new laptop and send the current to HP headquarters to have a look and retrieve my data for me as they cannot open it due to warranty. Yesterday they informed me my life work and data cannot be retrieved and I have lost the most important documents and files of my life. This is unacceptable as I didn't even have time to backup my data as it's only been 3 days ! I have been a long existing customer since my first purchase with HP and you promise to keep my data protected but you are not doing much about it. They mentioned that the motherboard crashed so why can't they remove the external to retrieve my files and who will take responsibility for this, [content removed]

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
